Product Details

What is a dry meat rub? A dry rub is a blend of herbs, spices, and other seasonings that are used to coat and flavour meats before cooking. Unlike a wet marinade, which typically consists of liquid ingredients, a dry rub is a mixture of dry ingredients that adhere to the surface of the meat.

We’ve developed these dry meat rubs to enhance the natural flavour of our award-winning meat and bring out the best possible taste.
Pork: Enhance the natural sweetness of pork with fennel, allspice, paprika and mixed herbs
Lamb: Add a point of difference to your lamb with mustard, garlic, rosemary & thyme
Beef: Bring out the savoury taste of beef with caraway seeds, paprika, mustard & brown sugar
Chicken: Compliment the nation’s favourite meat with garlic, thyme, cayenne and oregano

How to use our dry meat rubs
Choose the Right Rub: Select a dry rub that complements the type of meat you're cooking. Consider the flavours you want to emphasise and the intensity of spices you prefer.
Prepare the Meat: Before applying the rub, ensure that the meat is clean and dry. Pat it gently with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
Apply the Rub: Generously sprinkle the dry rub onto all sides of the meat, ensuring an even coating. Use your hands or a dry rub shaker to gently massage the rub into the meat, ensuring it adheres well.
Let it Rest: After applying the dry rub, allow the meat to rest for some time. This allows the flavour to penetrate the meat, resulting in a bolder taste. For larger cuts, such as roasts or briskets, you can let them rest in the refrigerator overnight. For smaller cuts, 30 minutes to 1 hour of resting time is usually sufficient.
Cook to your preferred method & enjoy!
